Granada Hills is the geographical area of San Fernando Valley which is the domain of the city of Los Angeles, California. The area is based in the Northridge districts and northern area of North Hills, western area of the Mission Hills and Sylmar districts, and in the eastern area of the Porter Ranch region. Have easy access in the SR 118 (Ronald Reagan), Interstate 405 (San Diego), and Interstate 5 (Golden state) freeways all the way to the main fares of Woodley, Balboa Boulevard, Hayvernhurst, Rinaldi Street, Devonshire Street, San Fernando Mission Boulevard, Haskell Avenues and Chatsworth Street. Granada Hills is the accomplished result of the first oil of the Valley of San Fernando during 1961. The oil is placed in the Northern edge of Zillah Avenue. The city is established in 1927, before it was Granada alone but after 15 years the term "hills" are added to the city name, and begun as the orchard and dairy farm called Sunshine Ranch. Beans, Oranges, apricots, and walnuts are the harvested crops in preparation of the blooming 20's. In different areas the orange’s small groups, lemons or grapefruit trees such as Vestiges of former citrus groves is still located in the area. |
