Irvine is a united city in Orange County, California. In the 1960s, it was constructed by the Irvine Company and was essentially united during December 28, 1971 with 69.7 square mile area. As of this year the city had a total population of 212,793. It was associated in the past as an unreconstructed area in the north, and also the old El Toro Marine Corps Air Station was changed into Orange County Great Park. The city was ranked as the fourth best place for living in the United States as of last year because of its good schools, jobs and housing. This year, the city was reported as the lowest crime rate between the cities in the Unites States with a population of not less than a hundred thousand. August last year, Irvine was ranked seventh when it came to highest average income against the cities with a total population below 65,000. Irvine is the home of many universities and colleges such as the University of California, Concordia University, the University of Southern California in Orange County, and Irvine Valley College. There are also plenty of community colleges in the city. Irvine is home to a numerous technological companies.
