Malibu is an organized city of Western Los Angeles County, California, United States. The estimated population of the city is around 12,575 as of last 9 years census. Malibu is 34 km end of Pacific coastline the beachfront area popular for its warm, sandy beaches, and the home of innumerable movie stars and different entertainment industries in Southern California. Actually the people in Malibu live along the few hundred yards of Pacific Coast Highway in which they travel the city with different people that stays a mile away from the beach. The city is bordered more or less to the east part of Topanga Canyon, north of Santa Monica, south of Pacific Ocean, west of Ventura County. Some of the beaches are Surf rider Beach, Zuma Beach, Malibu State Beach and Topanga State Beach. Local parks involve Malibu Bluffs Park and Legacy Park with different parks surrounds the area such as; Malibu Creek State Park, Leo Carillo State Beach and Park, Point Mugu State Park, and the Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area, as well as the Robert H. Meyer Memorial State Beach, and popularly called as the pristine beaches, El Pescador, La Piedra and El Matador. The signage along the city stated that "27 miles of scenic beauty" meaning, the 27 miles are associated to the old Malibu's length before became 21 miles. |
