Known and named as the safest city in the whole United States and is situated in the southern part of Orange County, California is the Mission Viejo City. It has a population of about 100,242 in the year 2009 and is acknowledged as one of the biggest mater planned neighborhood ever constructed belonging on a single project in America. The city got its name as an association to the Rancho Mission Viejo which is a vast Spanish land award from where the area was established. It is compared only to Highlands Ranch, Colorado in terms of size, and is city-like in nature and culture. Mission Viejo is generally a residential area, but there are also some offices and businesses located within the area. The place is organized and highlights a lot of single-family houses, condominiums, apartments, a mall, and a community college. It also has a hospital which is the Mission Hospital which is the biggest in southern portion of Orange County. The hospital acts the regional trauma center of the whole region. It also provides Children's Hospital of Orange County venue giving excellent care for children. There are also several recreational areas within the city such as the Casta Del Sol Golf Course, The Mission Viejo Country Club, and the Lake Mission Viejo. |
