La Cresenta-Montrose is a census-specified area and unorganized area in Los Angeles County, California, including the parts of the Cresenta Valley not in the areas of Glendale or La Cañada Flintridge. Though the unorganized and organized area of Glendale north of Montrose are generally called La Cresenta. Bounded in the north of Angeles national Forest, east of La Cañada Flintridge, south of Glendale and northwest of Tujunga. Foothill freeway bound to the southern area. As of the Millennium census the population of Montrose was 18,532.
